The Central Department of Environmental Science (TU-CDES), Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal (ISET-Nepal) and Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF) have come together to organize the Graduate Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development (GCESD) known as Himalayan Knowledge Conclave (HKC) on April 3-4, 2017. The first and second conferences were organized on March 29-30, 2015 and April 4-5, 2016 respectively. This is the third conference of the series.
In the conference targeted to the graduate students, research carried out by the graduates in their thesis/project work or in other research works will be presented. The conference brings together graduates from universities of Nepal to present their research, provide review and comment each other’s work. The conference aspires to develop leadership and public engagement skills of participating graduates by involving them in the conference processes.

Who should apply?
GCESD is open to all interested graduates and young researchers currently studying or graduated from Nepali University with focus in the areas such as environment, social, sustainable development and related disciplines.Participants in the provided thematic areas need to register to confirm their participation for the conference.
