Man, Morality and Mathematics

Man is a rational being. We are the most intellectual creature on the earth. Through the mathematical methods for the formulation of physical principles, we have been able to develop the technology to better the human life.

Mathematics is synonymous to accuracy. It is always directed to truth, rightness. If something is not ‘right’ in mathematics, the other possible option can only be ‘wrong’. Today, the moral of, basis of our advancement, mathematics, is forgotten. We lack Morality. We lack honesty and decency. People are only concerned about their interest. We lack rightness, cheating is honored as smartness.

Very few people live their life with morality. Nothing seems attractive to them except their own luxury and comfort, irrespective of judgement of the doings as righteous. As long as it is good for them, it remains fine. Honesty, truth, rightness is only the talk of idealism; precisely it is the talk for laugh now.

Mathematics is the symbol of truth, the way that distinguish between right and wrong and the ultimate method for the prediction of past and future and the drive for present. We believe even if everything fails, if mathematics is correct, we will land up safe, we will ultimately reach the destination we want to. The same is the case in morality. If we practice ethics and morality, then we will be safe, can thrive ourselves to future. Rightness is the most wonderful culture that knows no boundaries. Support and cooperation is the basic demand for the beautiful, wonderful world. If not, we will surely be in trouble, will end up destroying ourselves.

It is an absolute joy for us to present this magazine as a contribution for building scientific thinkers in our country. I believe the magazine will not only provide helpful insights to the people here in Nepal, but also to the people living all over the globe. I request readers to think and work scientifically in a moral way as we will reach the new horizon of advancement.
