One of the most prestigious medical journal in the world, British Medical Journal, appointed a Nepali researcher, Dr. Bishal Gyawali as an advisor. Dr. Gyawali is a Ph.D. scholar in Medical Oncology at Nagoya University, Japan.
The youngest among the five, appointed annually, Dr. Gyawali responsibility will be to provide advice to the journal for publishing the research articles. From Asia, he is the only one selected. BMJ writes of him “His research interest include evidence-based oncology, economical alternatives to expensive cancer treatment and cancer management in resource limited settings.” Dr. Gyawali is SLC board first 2059 and IoM entrance topper 2062.
